Our Awards through the years
- The Jerusalem House Family Program was awarded the Top Performer Award by the Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge (ABBC) and recognized by the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Resilience. (2019)
- The Jerusalem House Program for Adults was chosen as a Top Performer for Energy Conservation by the Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge, a program of the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Sustainability. (2018)
- Jerusalem House was honored with a Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Award. Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health recognized individuals and organizations that not only envision solutions to the many inequities that characterize the world we live in, but also have the courage to act and to persevere in the face of some very challenging circumstances. (2018)

- Jerusalem House was honored with The Allen Award – John A. Conant Community Service Award by Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters, Inc. (2014)
- Jerusalem House was a finalist for the Metro Atlanta Corporate Volunteer Council (MACVC) IMPACT Awards. (2007).
- The Family Program facility was recognized by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs’ Magnolia Awards for “Special Achievement in Affordable Housing” in the Special Needs and Superior Design categories. (2005)
- Absolute Care, a comprehensive HIV medical facility providing both traditional medical and holistic treatments, honored Jerusalem House with their annual Absolute Service Award. (2002)
- Jerusalem House co-founder and board member Evelyn Ullman received the Georgia Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year Award, presented by the Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. (2002)
- The Family Program was one of 77 recipients selected from a national pool of 270 applicants for inclusion in “Design Matters: Best Practices in Affordable Housing.” (2001)
- The Jerusalem House Family Program was awarded an IMPACT Award by the Metro Atlanta Corporate Volunteer Council. (2001)
- Jerusalem House was chosen as an exemplary program as part of a collaboration project being conducted by AIDS Housing of Washington in Seattle and the Corporation for Supportive Housing in New York. (2001)
- The Rollins School of Public Health, the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and Goizueta Business School at Emory University awarded Jerusalem House with the Martin Luther King Community Service Award. (2001)
- Jerusalem House was the only Atlanta homeless service provider chosen for inclusion in a photographic exhibit called “The Way Home: Ending Homelessness in America.” The project was chaired by Tipper Gore and coordinated by the National Alliance to End Homelessness. (2000)
- Jerusalem House’s Family Program was chosen as one of 20 finalists nationwide for the Fannie Mae Foundation’s Maxwell Awards of Excellence Program for the Production of Low–Income Housing in the Special Needs category. (1999)

- Jerusalem House was the recipient of the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta’s Managing for Excellence Award. (1995) The agency was named a finalist for the award in 1993 and 1994.
- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development recognized Jerusalem House with the Award for Innovative Service to the Homeless. (1994)
- On World AIDS Day, December 1, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services honored Jerusalem House for outstanding service to people with AIDS. (1994)
- The Atlanta Urban Design Commission presented The Award of Excellence to Jerusalem House. (1993)
