Group Opportunities
Explore Group Opportunities
Corporate teams, church groups, fraternities/sororities, civic groups, families, and groups of friends can have a great team-building experience at Status: Home. From painting and landscaping projects to hosting social activities for our residents, group service projects are a great way to give back and make a positive impact! To ensure an impactful volunteer experience for your group we ask that you submit your request 4 – 6 weeks in advance of your desired volunteer date. We will try our best to accommodate your request.
Beautification
A beautiful environment enhances quality of life and fosters a sense of pride and belonging. Join us in keeping our properties vibrant and beautiful. Plant flowers, trim bushes, rack or blow leaves, light property clean-up. Volunteers will need to bring their own equipment and supplies (e.g., gardening tools, trash bags, leaf blower, perennials, mulch).
Administrative Support
Support our organization in a crucial way by providing exceptional support to our office staff. Filing documents, making copies, organizing the supply closet, moving filing cabinets, and creating information packets.
Host An On-site Community Event
Make a meaningful impact by bringing joy and a community spirit to our residents. Host a bar-b-que for our residents. Volunteers will need to provide food to be served and food must be prepared on-site.
Support A Resident
Volunteers are needed to assist residents during transitional periods. Help a fragile resident with the packing process. You will work closely with a resident to assess their packing needs, sort, organize, and help them pack their personal belongings. This is a specialized volunteer opportunity. Volunteers are required to participate in safety training.
Become A Tutor
Passionate and dedicated individuals are needed to support our students with learning at home. You will work one-on-one with a student or in small groups providing extra support in various subjects.
To get started, complete and submit a Group Volunteer Interest Form. Once your completed form has been received by Status: Home, you will be contacted by our Manager of Community Engagement. For additional information, please contact us directly at volunteer@statushome.org or 470-957-4216.
