Status: Home Announces New Board Chair and Executive Committee
Status: Home is pleased to announce the appointment of Brett Haynie of PwC as Chair of the 2025-2027 Board of Directors. Haynie, who has served on the board since 2020, brings deep expertise in construction and capital portfolio optimization and a strong commitment to the organization’s mission.
In addition to welcoming a new board chair, Status: Home has also appointed a new Executive Committee, including:
- Marcus D. Benning, Esq. of Regions Bank, Vice Chair
- Jamee Lawson Nelson of Autodesk, Secretary
- Joseph Keeney of My Virtual CFO – ATL, Treasurer
- Joseph Royals of Truist, Immediate Past Chair
The new leadership team will support the organization’s strategic goals and continue advancing its work in affordable housing for Atlanta’s low-income and homeless individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS.
The new executive committee members bring a wealth of experience across sectors including law, finance, and communications.
The new roster is effective July 1, 2025.
